Chemical peels · Brooklyn, NY
Customized medical-grade peels for acne, dark spots, melasma, fine lines and uneven texture. Every peel is chosen for your skin on the day and is safe for all skin tones, including deeper skin.

The basics
A chemical peel is a professional treatment that applies a controlled acid solution to the skin. It dissolves the bonds holding dead skin cells together, so they shed and make way for fresh, healthy skin underneath.
That renewal does more than brighten. Peels fade dark spots and post-acne marks, clear clogged pores, soften fine lines and smooth rough texture. Deeper peels also signal the skin to build new collagen over the following weeks.
Peels are measured by depth. A superficial peel works on the very top layer with little to no downtime. Medium-depth peels reach further for stronger correction and a few days of peeling. The right depth depends on your skin, your goals and how well your skin has been prepped.
What peels treat
Peels work best as part of a plan, paired with the right home care between visits.
Clears congestion and calms active breakouts by keeping pores free of buildup.
Fades dark spots, sun damage and post-inflammatory marks left behind by acne.
Lightens stubborn patches with carefully chosen acids and consistent prep.
Softens early lines and improves firmness by encouraging collagen.
Smooths rough skin, enlarged pores and shallow acne scars over a series.
Restores glow by removing the dead skin that makes the complexion look flat.
Our peels
On the day of your appointment we choose the exact peel within your level. Level 1 and Level 2 peels are paired with Celluma LED light therapy to calm the skin and support healing.
Beginner friendly and summer safe. Brightens and clears congestion with little to no downtime. Usually a lactic, mandelic or glycolic acid peel.
Still a superficial peel, with stronger correction for pigmentation, acne marks and texture. Expect some flaking and light peeling for a few days.
A dermatological peel for deeper pigmentation, melasma, acne scarring and fine lines. Expect visible peeling for about a week, and your skin is prepped first.

Melanin-rich skin
Deeper skin tones can absolutely get peels. The risk to manage is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, where skin darkens after irritation. That is why the peel choice and the prep matter so much.
At Vivify, every peel is selected for your skin tone and sensitivity, your skin is prepped with home care before stronger peels, and we build depth gradually across your series. Hyperpigmentation correction on all skin tones is one of our specialties.
